The U.S. military’s Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) initiative aims to bring together all forces under one data umbrella, allowing for real-time information sharing and data management. Doing so is a massive undertaking, as it requires a common data standard and reliable infrastructure to ensure troops, tanks, aircraft, ships and satellites can communicate effectively, no matter the environment. But an even bigger challenge is ensuring U.S. forces can effectively communicate with allies when undertaking joint military operations. In this panel, industry leaders will discuss the data standards and network infrastructure needed for effective data sharing, as well as the role NATO may play in establishing a common data standard.
